ELDEN RING - Shadow of the Erdtree

The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC created for me an experience I struggle to call something other than Pure Fantasy. The mountains, the castles, the danger and profound motion of the quest. I was walking through a heavily scented rainbow fog of tone and color, light and space, stone and wind. I looked upon St. Trina. It's so rich and lush with artistic force and sensitive touches I felt faint after long play sessions. It's the kind of art that makes the real world uglier and more beautiful at once. Will I think about the Scadutree on my deathbed?

Exhilaration, pride, hatred, rage... The dragons teased out our dearest emotions. Thou will understand, one day... At thy twilight, old thoughts return, in great waves of nostalgia.
